Low Brass Lessons with Brian

Brian Morgan
Brian Morgan, Low Brass Instructor
Trombone, Baritone/Euphonium, and Tuba Lessons

Greetings prospective students, band directors and parents!

My name is Brian Morgan and I am a new resident of Washington and the low brass and jazz instructor at The Olympia Studio. I moved to Mason County last year from Portland where, in addition to teaching privately, I played locally with various groups. As a student I studied music at the University of Oregon as well as Portland State University and as a professional I've played trombone with many groups including The Essenials, Swing Shift Big Band, Trombone 8, and was a founding member of the Portland based band Philly's Phunkestra.

Recently since my move, I have worked with low brass students at North Kitsap High School, Forks Middle School and at North Mason High School where my wife Lia Morgan is the band director. My main focus on the trombone has been jazz and improvisation, however I am experienced with any material ranging from solo repertoire, marching band, concert band to funk and rock.

Lessons are paid for by the month and are available Thursdays from 2pm to 8pm. Cost is $120 a month for weekly lessons or $80 for alternating weeks. Payment is made at the first lesson of the month. Missed lessons cannot be refunded and must be made up for in the students own time.

I would love to work with any interested students! I am offering a FREE LESSON to all prospective students.
